Cynthia Osokogu: The sad story continues with new discoveries

Late Cynthia Osokogu

Recently released reports on Cynthia’s case have revealed that the suspects may have raped her and recorded a video which was seen in their laptop. The alleged video shows Cynthia’s face and brutalized body while the faces of the rapists were blurred. She was tied and forcefully assaulted by the rapists who bit her deeply and several times on her breasts, buttocks and back.

Also discovered were over 50 nude pictures of other female victims who had fallen prey to the suspects. Some of the pictures showed girls tied up with their mouths cellotaped and objects inserted in their private parts.

The police investigation also led to the discovery of her Blackberry Bold 5 phone at the hands of a Port-Harcourt based man who claimed to have bought it from a friend in Lagos. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the suspect and the man with the phone are related.

pinging, buzzing, chatting, tweeting, fb friends and groups, bb friends and groups...and so on and so forth. these things are good but they are also very bad. we need to be careful when we're dealing with strangers. For me, i maintain that my friends remain those i know their history whether from school, neighbourhood, church, work, etc. Even at that, with the many evils around today, one has to be careful. Her story is so sad. Too bad

i'll never understand women...the world can never been rid of danger..it's on us to be careful and aware....even though women do it most of the time,,i don't see why a rational person would board a plane/bus to go see business associates(strangers as far as am concern) whom she never met before but only talked to over the phone or through a social media........beats me
