Murdered University of Portharcourt, Nigeria students: follow up story

I know most of you, like me, are following up on the very shocking story of the young University of Port Harcourt boys who were brutally murdered by the Aluu community people of Rivers state, Nigeria.

The BBC, London spoke with some of the relatives and at the beginning of the interview, the interviewer started off by saying that those who had the misfortune to watch the video of how those boys were killed…. I thoroughly agree with him for using the word ‘misfortune’. Many are still in shock over the gross display of inhumanity by these people.

Related news is that management of the university had to shut the school down following the protests by hundreds of students over the murder of their colleagues. The students were said to vow that they would retaliate if justice was not carried out for their colleagues. Meanwhile, armed police have been deployed to the area to maintain law and order.

What a name of a community 'Aluu', sounds like 'Abomination'.
